Aer Travel Pack 3 X-Pac (35L)
So recently I purchased the Aer Travel Pack 3 X-Pac. I decided to go with it as a 35L travel bag because, even though reviews said it was heavy and a little cumbersome, it had pretty much everything I was looking for.
The biggest thing for me was laptop space. It can fit multiple laptops in the laptop sleeve, and the clamshell opening for the main compartment lets me pack a decent amount of items. On top of that, the sides have magnetic compression straps that pull the bag tighter, so it doesn’t feel as large after it’s fully packed.
Originally, I was looking for something small enough to fit under an airplane seat as a personal item. But once I realized I also wanted to bring it to the beach for three-night weekends, I didn’t want to be limited on space. I have no problem fitting all my stuff in here, so it’s perfect as a carry-on, and I can just put it in the overhead bin.
I’ve only had this backpack for about two weeks, but I love it. It is a bit heavy, but I don’t really have a problem with that because I’m not walking 20 miles a day with it. I’m mainly using it for long weekends and occasional getaways. So far, the X-Pac version has really impressed me, and the quality has held up.
YETI Waterproof Duffel (50L)
The next thing I wanted to talk about is one of my favorite purchases recently: my 50L waterproof duffel bag from YETI. I bought this in September 2022, and it has become one of my favorite duffel bags.
I wanted a waterproof duffel so I could carry it anywhere. If I go camping or do anything where I need that kind of durability, this bag just works. I wanted a larger duffel, so I was very happy with the purchase.
The zipper is kind of tight, but they include zipper lube to make it smoother. Other than that, no real complaints.
At 50L, it can hold a ton of items. I’ve used it for a while now, and compared to some of my other duffel bags, it’s held up really well. I’ve taken it on plenty of plane trips and, overall, I’m really happy with it.
